I keep him near a south facing window and occasionally a humidifier. I also spray water every 1-2 weeks. I’m not sure if it’s a watering issue, or not getting enough sun, but I really want him to thrive 🥺
It’s probably not enough water. Immerse him in water every 1-2 weeks for 20 minutes. If that sounds like too much work, move him to a room with a shower in it, which will provide more moisture.

Bath it more.
I bathe mine for 30 minutes twice a week when it’s spring/summer/some of autumn
Then abandon it during winter

I learned this from this sub- that type of air plant is a desert variety. It has longer hairs to actually shade itself. Also from what I hear air plants do well in dry air or windy conditions, lots of air circulation….. I would soak it every 2-3 weeks and keep it right in a south facing window
