First day of April and zone 9b forecast is 90° this week. I decided early on not to plant anything new this year. Between drought and heat new plants would suffer, right?
Love the video but NO to the comic thumbnail!! I like seeing Laura's smiling face and a glimpse of what the video is going to be about plus it made me question whether the video was authentic! It's always great to try new things but please keep the thumbnails the same!
So is that the magpie bird chirping or is it a different bird? Michigan needs magpie they are a beautiful bird
Great video, as always! Q: is it a good idea to fertilize the tulips and other spring bulbs coming up from previous years? If not now, is there a good time to do that? Thank you for all of your wonderful videos!
Laura, have you considered using a torch to burn the weeds in the walkways?
Laura! You’ve taught me so so so much. I just adore you and your energizer bunny spirit. You’ve caused a HELLEBORE FURY in me! 🥰😂 I went to a newly discovered (HUGE) greenhouse yesterday (needed it in a bad way🤣) and not ONE SINGLE HEELEBORE! Whaaaat? Criminal ❤️ Your entire family is an inspiration to many. Good onya, sister. 💪🏼🏡❤️
For the David Austin roses, I some roses that are planted where it gets afternoon sun (about 4hrs) and they just seem so little (they were planted last year)..should I be pruning them or holding off until they’re a little larger due to the lack of sunshine?
One of the greatest things about watching you in the spring is the wealth of knowledge you give us. You and Aaron teach us soooo much, and I'm so grateful!! Loved seeing the kiddos getting in there to help again, they are really into it this year! Is that a new young man you have helping this spring? You all sure got a lot done!!
Hahhahahaha while you were pruning, Russel’s tail kept waving right where you were pruning and I kept thinking “oh my gosh Russell you’re gonna get your tail cut off!”
Hahahaha
I bet Aaron smelled wonderful after all that fertilizer and wind 😂
Nice avatar
Magnificent Laura ❤ Thank you ❤
Hi Laura
Do you get tumbleweed on the highways?💚💚
I might be weird, but I really enjoy pruning. It's relaxing and exciting at the same time because of the anticipation of what the plant will look like later in the season.😊
Hi Aaron
You don't always film the hard work you do. You're magnificent too❤❤
Central Florida we are at 95° today 😅
The tall skinny tree behind Laura at the end of the video is leaning. 😟
I'm with your parents….Hollytone for evergreens in eastern Oregon and Washington….also for hydrangeas.
These are just no longer appealing videos since you've moved from a backyard gardener to a corporate estate money making enterprise.
good tips! thank you
Having some freezing issues with the last 2 videos. Sound continues but picture freezes. Not happening with any other channels. Just an FYI.
Snip, snip love the sound! I am so happy that teach so well. I learn so much from you and Aaron. Your park is coming along nicely. You are leaving a living journal for your children.
Was that your new editor’s April Fools joke…an animated Garden Answer?! Loved it!😍 🤣
❤
A few weeks ago I bought and planted a shrub rose called La Villa Cotta. When do I fertilize it and how do I prune it?
Not to be that person 😅 but I think those roses are Queen of Sweden 😊 I just remember your previous videos and I also have 5 David Austin QOS roses and they definitely grow in that shape. Love all your videos.
It doesn’t look to me like you have mulch on your beds. Is that so? I have a hard time in the spring and mid summer fertilizing because of the mulch. I have to rake it all back and fertilize and then move it back. It’s such a pain. Any suggestions.
👍👍❤️🌱
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thx for all the information on the Hydrangea cutback very informative you have a beautiful family including the cats🙂.
I have to say thank you Laura for teaching me how to prune anything, especially hydrangeas! Years ago my hydrangeas never bloomed , then I found GA 😊. Turns out I was cutting off all the future blooms 😢. Now I have some gorgeous hydrangeas blooming and thriving 🩷💙
Aaron must have been dizzy by the time he finished fertilizing those trees. Love the Laura and Rose Tone…is it called an Avatar or AI? Whatever it is when I saw it, I smiled and said look – that's Laura. Wondering who the mystery teenager is. I hope they tell us in the recap video on Sunday. Every ting looks so much more satisfying all cleaned up. 😅
Oh the Ghibli’s style thumbnail ❤
WONDERFUL!!! AGAIN!!!
Very Satisfying! 😍❣
