5/7 gallon bucket? I’d advise culling all but the strongest individual for best results. Rather than next year, depending on the species you might have fruit in just a few months if it has enough space, light, water food etc. When it flowers, give the plant a shake now and then to insure they’re pollinated(they are perfect flowers, each flower can pollinate itself, but they need to be disturbed by wind/bugs/you)
