As a child, I would spend hours poring over maps and dreaming of far-off lands. I longed to explore the world, immerse myself in different cultures, and share my experiences with others. My ultimate goal was to create a YouTube travel channel that would inspire and captivate audiences worldwide.
However, life had other plans. After completing college, I found myself struggling to make ends meet. My parents, who had always been supportive of my passions, encouraged me to find a stable job. I reluctantly took up a position at a local nursery, surrounded by plants and soil.
At first, I felt like I was sacrificing my dreams. I had to create content for the nursery’s social media channels, which meant posting videos about plants. I was disappointed, but I tried to make the best of it. I started learning about different plant species, their care and maintenance, and the benefits they provided.
As I delved deeper into the world of plants, I discovered a new passion. I found solace in nurturing life and watching it grow. The nursery’s owner, impressed with my work, offered to sponsor my travel to gardening conferences and trade shows.
