  1. OH, Asher is so sweet. My son would barely hold still for a picture when he did his prom, such a patient boy you have, Jess. Love it! It sounds like your area is falling prey to the Vermont adage, "Don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes!". We had NO snow last week, and fairly warm weather for us. Saturday morning, I got up to about 6 inches of new snow. Sorry, crocuses! This happens a lot at this time of year…sigh.đŸŒ»Thank you for reminding me that spring WILL someday come–actually probably tomorrow!

  2. Patio Choice tomato was one of my favorites last year. I had it in my GreenStalk. It was perfect! You’ll enjoy it.

  3. Awe! Precious! Asher and Yaz! Heart moment for sure! And yes can't just window shop in a greenhouse nursery! LOL! Blessings Kiddo!đŸŒżđŸ’šđŸ‘”

  4. So hey – Tomatillos. No being a know-it-all but I've grown a single plant and got produce. Several times over several different seasons. I don't believe emphatically that we need two to pollinate. I grow several plants now – because I love me some salsa verde. But I have proof that one plant can give you fruit. Also – they do root from their stems like tomatoes. They can vine out and if those vines hit soil, they will root. So plant the stem wound under the soil and I think your plant will recover and thrive. Top water – I do the same with my baby plants.

  5. I am so envious of the many start varieties available to you. I'm in NY, specifically Long Island, and haven't been able to find the standard varieties. 🍅🍆

  6. Jess explaining the basil, the sweet potato, …I'm looking at the plants thinking I see tomatoes in there! I was just saying today I cannot wait for a homegrown tomato. My tomato seedlings just popped up yesturday in their makeshift greenhouse, I think I need to get a couple starts too, get something fruiting a smidge sooner! I'm in VA.

  7. I'm so happy watching you!!! Thank you!!! I'm on 9yrs growing on ❀ I just learned a few new things I had no idea about😅

  8. I would love a video of if you only had 1 5 tier greenstalk what would you plant and how would you organize it

  9. I can’t even think about my garden. My world is upside down. I am RN working in clinical trial for pediatric oncology study. We were let hot 2 weeks ago. The world is upside down.

  10. I am fine to give you some info that might help you when times get weird its in the book sprouting book by Ann wigmore

  11. We are in the lovely 3 or four seasons a day stretch of spring. Great for maple sap but hard on plants and patience. I have no will power in garden centers either. Something about the smell and all the possibilities of food and beauty woo me every time.

  12. Sweet moment with Asher and his prom date. As for the purchase of extra tomatoes😼 I knew you would. You are the crazy tomato lady. I just got another green stalk just for peppers in green from the st pat’s day sale. I started dozens of peppers and tomatoes, but seeing them in the store begging for me to take them home is a thing. Like a kitten in the shelter.

  13. Awwww I love how Asher and his date match with her hair and his pocket square! Sooo sweet ❀đŸ„č have fun, Asher. We’re all so happy for you. Thanks for letting us in on this sweet moment. ❀

  14. For the microgreens… we always left the top tray on until the whole tray was germinated and trying to push the top tray off.
