This is classic skunk behavior. Get yourself some fox urine (it’s sold for this purpose) and spray it around your yard

I know most aren’t a fan of Milorganite, but I will say at least 1 application will help keep pests away. Most animals hate the smell of it. I’ve had night and day difference from bunnies, voles, and even my own cat and dog not wanting anything to do with the yard after putting it down.
