Thanks Kim. Love your videos. I’m intrigued by the disease prevention formula. Is this similar to using aspirin? I’ve found that to be fairly effective.
I’ve heard that further to the north that burying tomatoes deep may not really help much because it takes longer to get going and can just stunt it. I still have to burry it just a little out of habit, but I’m still testing it out. In the PNW it usually stays cool for a good while longer than other areas before July. I don’t even want to plant tomatoes until mid May and it still might be cool for tomatoes (maybe I’ll put a couple before the avg last frost April 20th, even though I think this mild winter/spring we are likely done with frost.
I will plant mine outside mid/late April. Early Girl, Better Boy & the Italian Tree tomato seeds u sent! Lots of MAC in this video! ❤

I'm forced to plant in pots and I have eliminated BER for the past three years. Along with the general steps, I add powdered lime into the hole. Make a thin paste and add it to the planting hole. I also add a lime water drink twice a month. I'm in central Jersey.
I am guilty of overcrowding. Also, trying the tomato string trellis again this year after ZERO success last year. Fingers crossed for tomato Trellis success this year!!!!
It is so hard to prune all that growth! The time and effort it took grow that seedling is EVERYTHING! However, it is what the plant needs to produce and provide yummy fruit. The struggle is real.
