Spring garden season is here and I am planting lettuce on the rail planter on my back porch.

Lettuce is a cool season loving crop and I am hoping this cut and come again style lettuce will grow well in this little corner of my backyard.

Spring gardening is an interesting time of starting seeds indoors for summer crops, and planting spring crops and also thinking what crops I plan to rotate into the fall as the spring comes out.

I like to garden in a variety of spaces, and I’m excited to see how the lettuce does in this container.
