If you wanna get rid if them…
1. Make sure to quarantine your plant from any healthy plants.
2. Check the plants around the main infected plant bc Thrips can fly and they will fly to another plant nearby.
3. Give the infected plants a shower.
4. Try and hand-pick out any visible thrips on the surface (if you don’t see any on the surface don’t leave it at that bc they lay their eggs in the plant and there may have been some that have fallen into the soil).
5. Spray the leaves and surface soil with some sort of bug rappelling spray (I used a salt-based spray but there are different kinds (eg. Need and spearmint oil) depending to your situation sold online or at Home Depot).
6. Repeat the process- Keep the infected plants quarantined and re-spray the leaves every 3-5 days depending on the severity. Hand-pick the Thrips when you see them and give the plant a shower when you feel necessary.
The Thrips should be gone in a few weeks as long as you keep the routine.
I am by no means a professional but this is what helped me get rid if Thrips. Hope this helped 💕
