The client didn’t know what to do with this wall and was thinking about just rendering the top. However, we had just finished doing the paving and had some porcelain tiles left.

Therefore, I had the idea to use them up and do some coping on the top of this wall. Of course, as usual we were left with an annoying gap, but as you’ve seen in my video before we don’t just fill the little gap, we do things properly!

I ended up trimming the end of every tile and measured them to fit perfectly! Client was extremely happy with how it looked!

CHECK OUT: My previous video showed the side of Landscaping which is probably the most difficult and so I put it up for debate whether landscaping is the HARDEST GRAFT!

  1. I know the overhang looks better, however I would not be surprised of they get chipped or broken before too long. It would have been much stronger without the overhang. At least they look fairly chunky, so may take a little bit of a knock.

  2. These tiles, were they originally for an indoor tiling job … just wondering what f left over bathroom tiles etc work / ok to use outside thanks 😊

  3. The extra effort every self respecting tradesman should go to – sadly most don’t!
    Fair play 👍🏻
