Hello
I'm a total noob with no experience that want to start with an electronic planter. I have no lofty goals, I just want to see some greens and perhaps grow some herbs in what limited space I have, and I currently have no time, desire, or space to do very elaborate stuff people post here. With that out of the way, I have several questions:
– Which electronic planter should I get? Currently, there are around three types available for me: option 1, option 2, and option 3. Out of these, which one is the best, or does it not matter and they're all the same? Do you have other recommendations?
– In lieu of herbs and vegetables, can I use electronic planters like above for decorative plants or flowers?
– Are there any guides or tips for total noob starting out with electronic planters?
Thank you!

there are some nice self watering pots but with no light. they cost a few bucks and might be a good product to sell

option 4: I would advise looking into ebb and flow, something like this. Maybe this is too large. I should have just chopped the plastic totes to size. My light strips cost ~$6 a pop but the driver cost more. The pump is 6W and comes on 6x a day for 5 minutes. What are you expecting to grow in the gadjets you showed? Rye grass? This is a 2×4 flood table I am showing and you can see it doesn’t grow much. The tomatoes will get moved soon…
I should have used a 2×2 and had a second one so I could start plants in one and let them mature in the other. Anyhow.
Alternatively, if you want to try hydroponics, check out [Ronald Kleinman’s YT channel](https://www.youtube.com/@rwkleinman). He’ll show you how to build a bubbler (he calls them root spas, whatever). This is an easy way to start.
