Struggling to live and near death, but so willing to live, this plant was tiny. My mom had a single lonesome plant at her work that she had gotten from a lady. Unsure how long the poor thing survived the way it did or even how. It rarely if ever got water and really, the only time it got anything was when I stopped by which wasn’t often. It never grew, that’s how little water it got!
One day I told her to bring it home… I never thought this plant would grow to be this big. It’s so sturdy and keeps on growing new leaves, higher and higher up. I have repotted him twice I believe. What is this guy? He is my absolute favorite. Greedy bastard he is, wants water almost daily. Has to be a little over 50 cm tall.

I have one that looks like a slightly bigger version of your first picture, I had 3 tiny sprouts given to me by a lady that told me they were “Friendship Plants”. I looked them up, but they didn’t look right at all, so I actually need the answer to this too. I am however FLOORED that this tiny thing could grow into THAT in 5 years!!! Glad I managed to keep one alive!
Euphorbia leuconeura, aka Madagascar jewel. I’ve always heard them called a “pass-along plant” because they spit seeds and you’ll end up with so many plants you’ll be giving them away left and right.
