Want to grow your own sweet, juicy loquats but don’t have space for a big tree? In this video, I’ll share how I’m successfully growing a loquat tree in a container in my Central Florida backyard garden. Loquats (Eriobotrya japonica) are easy to grow in warm climates and can even handle light frosts. Whether you’re in a subtropical or temperate region, container-grown loquats can be a rewarding addition to your edible garden!

  1. Ever video you make addresses something in my garden lol. I bought my house and it had a large looquat tree. Just now learning to care for it.
    Great work cousin.

  2. Same … I have a loquat tree… I have no idea where to put it .. I might put it in the front yard … Not sure yet

  3. Loquats are so underrated! Have you ever tasted one? If you're growing a loquat tree, I'd love to hear about your experience. Any tips or favorite ways to enjoy them?

  4. My city "gave" some out last year. I asked about keeping them in containers and the city arborist made it sound like a nearly impossible task with massive weird containers.
