What in the world is this?


On my anthurium underside of the leaf. I’m already treating for pests but was surprised to find this!

Bright indirect light, water appropriately, plant looks healthy other than this! Thanks!!

    Depends on where you live in the world, my guess would be snail or lizard poop? 🤔

    My best guess is that it might be a caterpillar cocoon? Not sure though.

    Amazing, thought it was a bug of some sort. It looks like it oddly enough has a symmetrical “head” or front end so I wasn’t sure if it’s alive! No moss pole attached or anything.
