Got this plant three weeks ago, suddenly the leaves are browning??? I water it on the same schedule as my other plants, once a week on average (sometimes twice in the drier weeks) and it gets about 8 hours of indirect sun.

  1. Is it predominantly the lower leaves browning/yellowing? And are they squishy or crispy?

Is the soil drying out that quickly? I water mine maybe every 3 weeks and it seems happy.

looks like the very oldest leaf.i wouldnt worry if that was mine, unless all of the leaves were doing it.

it looks very happy.. just was finished w/ that old leaf, imo.

Dracaena like to dry out completely between watering once every 2 to 4 weeks watering is fine and avoid hard tap water

It’s overwatered. Only water when the soil is dry. Don’t water on a set schedule, it should be based on need.

It’s overwatered. All draceanas like to dry out almost completely. I water mine every 3 to 4 weeks and it’s beautiful. They hate being wet and watered on a schedule.

Get a moisture meter many people don’t like them but it’s helped me not kill my plants, I stick the moisture meter all around the pot and check, if it says dry i wait one more week and I fertilize at th same time.
