  1. ☆Go SLUG Hunting☆
Get a flash light, gloves, paper sack and a salt shaker.
Go out about 30 minutes after dark with those items.
This is fun with children, you'll get lots of laughs & giggles.
Shine your flash light on the ground and you will see every size slug heading twards your favorite plants.
Pick them up with gloves on, throw them in the sack and salt them so they don't crawl out. Here in Oregon I've gotten more than 150 slugs in about 20 minutes.
Throw the sack in a burn barrel or burn pile after you salt it well.
Do this several evenings in a row.
Then do it again after a rain.
This will really make a difference in your garden and it's easy.
I discovered this when I had dahlias and they were being eaten to the ground but I never saw anything until I went out at night.
They were hiding in a shady area 15 feet away and when I went out after dark it was like an army going across my lawn in every shape, size & color. It blew my mind how many there were.
    Give it a try.

  2. So fun to see. Doesn't seem like the most expressive man in the world, but his garden does all of the talking. What a beautiful space.

  3. lmao 10:10 , the look of instant regret when he knelt down and opened that bucked with his face directly inches above it. lol, he stood up awfully quick

  4. I don't think I've ever seen a guinea pig tractor! Very cool. 🙂 Loved everything. Thank you both for sharing.

  5. i keep seeing that blueish plastic thats bend over the raised beds but i dont see them in the stores here where im at, what is it? is it just DIY or a actual kit?

  6. What a gem of a garden. So much packed into a small space and everything blooming. I love the idea of hidden areas. A fantastic video.

  7. In my country slugs and snail would over populate that garden. Too many hiding places. I had to remove even my low garden edging etc. now slug snail free and great cropping but mine doesn’t look as good as this one.

  8. Great video. I always want to know what these places look like in winter when everything has died back

  9. Yes, just watched your vlog and noticed some one commenting on no music infill, l hate music while trying to watch things , some music is so bad l stop watching their vlog and don't give a thumbs up.

  10. I loved the 600-foot elevation comment. Here in Southern Idaho (USA), my elevation is just about 4,000 feet above sea level.

  11. Is the 600ft you keep mentioning your altitude? You're having trouble growing things at 600ft? That's hilarious. I'm at nearly 6000 feet!

  12. You did a great job holding it together when he whipped out the stinky nettle soup but then followed it up with sheep poop consommé! and you went in for more! one sniff wasn't enough haha.

  13. As a newbie to your channel I’m doing the binge watch. This ep was brilliant. Wade’s garden is about the size of mine (although a very different climate to my zone 10 in Aus). So inspirational though and I can see me adapting a lot of these ideas to suit. Thankyou Ben!❤

  14. A very inspiring garden. Thank you for this video. Wades book is well worth purchasing. It was lovely to see this video given that I have enjoyed Wade’s book. Best wishes from Australia.
