In this video I tour the garden of my friend, and gardener Maureen of Parsons Peonies. Maureen has been creating gardens in her suburban garden for several years. All of her gardens are DIY by Maureen, and her husband Jim. As things mature, you can find pockets of beauty everywhere. She has an eye for container planting combinations, as well as for plant combinations in her garden flower beds. Come along and tour Maureen’s beautiful garden with me. Thanks for watching- Steph 🌱 (Gardening in Massachusetts zone 6b). #gardening #gardentour #landscape #design #plants

  2. It is my first time on your channel and I have just subscribed. Your garden is so beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing. Keep up the good work. All the best on this journey

  3. Beautiful! So much fun to listen to two enthuseded gardeners chat. 😊 The ligularia damage is probably leaf miners?

  4. I am so envious of your plants, especially your herbs. And I am totally copying your stones! I am in 10 a/b. Most of the year is dry, but it is our rainy summer now. Today I was out trying to save the lavenders. 😢. You have so many plants I want, but they won’t stay alive here in the high humidity and heat. You mentioned your zone changing. When I moved here in 2001 we were zone 9. Now we are pushing zone 11. I cannot be in the garden during the summer anymore, so I planning for zone 11 as I plant this year. You have a beautiful yard. Thank you for sharing.😊

  5. Such a beautiful garden. All the hard work shows …. Maureen has a knack for it. It'd be great to learn from her her watering, fertilizing and cleaning / maintenance routine. I struggle keeping grass out of a small flower patch I have. I would love it if you guys can take us through what Maureen does to "keep up" a beautiful garden such as this .. especially with it's size. Thanks for the beautiful tour.

  6. Thank you for the spontaneous garden tour. I learned about a lot of new plants. I just discovered you both today and look forward to watching many more. Love learning from all the gardeners around the states. It's fun when you can relate with your fellow garden friends. I make my containers the same way. If a plant excites me, then I see what I can do with it.

  7. St. John’s wort is an invasive in Australia we are not allowed to plant this 🌱👒 this garden is stunning 🙌🥰 the wiggly lines on your leaf is caused from Leaf Minor ! thank you for sharing Steph & Maureen it’s gorgeous , from The Land Down Under 🇦🇺🐨🦘

  8. This is the garden of my dreams. I grew up in the South but all of my Dad's family is from Lakeville MA. Maureen's accent reminds me of a lighter version of my Aunt Nancy's, you made me miss her!

  9. Beautiful garden! I am all in pinks and purple also. Got so many ideas for my beds even though my zone is completelly different. Those paths on the leaves looks like leaf miners.

  10. How did I miss this video last summer?! I love its!!! Maureen thank you for sharing your garden. Steph thank you for sharing this visit with us. Sending love to you both from California 🌼🌼🌼

  11. Just saw this in March 2025….I'm in zone 5a. Beautiful, and food for the soul for sure! I have loved watching this video. My question is…..what kind of soil, and fertilizer routines do you implement to have such success in your gardens?

  12. Maureen’s gardens and grounds are spectacular! Thanks for showcasing this gem! So glad that I came across your channel, Steph!
