yes but $30 is quite steep for a thai con, with variegation like that, even for $15 the variegation on that one isn’t worth it. but if you’re happy you’re happy pay whatever you feel like paying

Yes it’s a Thai Constellation Monstera yes the variation on the variegation will change over time. I think it’s beautiful so pay no attention to negativity, you have a nice plant that has her very own personality!!! That’s the point! That baby will thrive and grow! Good luck and post pic along the way!

Don’t fret over the colors. Monsteras are notorious for changing variegation. As it sprouts more leaves, the colors and leaves will get bigger and brighter. If it turns out to be a fast grower, be sure to get a stackable moss pole so he doesn’t stress out. Nice find!

So I use to work at Home Depot and we had stuff from Costa but mixups like this happen. A sticker is put on a pot and then the wrong plant is put inside.
But also… sometimes customers switch nursery pots into planters they like better or prices they like better.
So as long as you are cautious with what the label says and always double check if you’re not sure, you’re good 🙂

I find them in my local market as well. They are a rare find indeed. Just google the price of a more mature plant.
I’ve seen them as low as $130 in an 8” pot.
