The first walk around to go over the plans for the new garden in the snow. I know there is not a whole lot to see, but I thought I might be interesting see my new environment covered in snow. Something I am not use to.
A lot of times when we are gardening, we have to garden in austere conditions, be it mud, snow, rain, or hot humid conditions. In the same way we have to make garden plan in less than ideal conditions, because if we wait until spring – it will be too late.

Congrats on your move to Utah and your new adventure on creating your therapy garden. The few times I have visited Utah it looked and felt like high desert. It would be interesting if you could visit a local arboretum to see what thrives and do well in that part of Utah. Looking forward to see how your garden evolves.
How fun to create all new. One suggestion before you start. Install drains for your gutters dumping at the street.
I am sure you miss the old garden and so will we. However! Think of the places we will go and the things we will do as we watch you build the new garden. What a journey! Enjoy the journey. I will.
