This is my first time guarding in general. I’m growing catnip for my cats. I noticed some discoloration but I’m not even sure if it is discoloration but something feels off could yall help? Thanks 🙏

This is so beautiful! That lime color against the dark brown! It just screams beauty! And those cats are gonna *love* it.

    Good job!

I’m also growing catnip for the first time and mine looks very similar. May just be how it grows

Catnip is in the mint family and responds to being tipped by becoming more bushy and putting out more leaves. If you let it grow without tipping it, it will turn into a gangly stem with barely any leaves!

So be sure to pinch off the growing tips before it gets too big.

Your plant looks good other than a little yellowing.
Generally overwatering or a nitrogen deficiency does that.
