  2. I would love to see you set up an irrigation system like KC set up here first on drip because of severe drought ,then later switched to sprinklers .We got 2 days of rain and wind ..Sage is loving the fresh spring grass .I am inside potting up all my emerging seedlings Planting out happens here in a month . I am working on pruning .I am glad to make my own compost as trust nothing to be free of cafo waste in commercial products ..I use wood for all my heat so moving in wood daily . I am getting a cord of fresh split wood delivered and stacked for next winter his weekend .It takes about 2 cords/year here to provide my heat but I shut off a lot of rooms .

  3. Enjoy fire and company tomorrow.
Roundup poison ivy, glad the chainsaw finally started after 4 years.😊
Onions 🧅 yum even red ones😊

  4. Use the hose and spray against the wind and let it spray all over the place if you can. Can you stand in one place and do that? I know it sounds stupid, but I have done that before here in Michigan and it worked! I don’t have a huge area like you, but I’m alone and do whatever I need to if I can. Wear a raincoat dear…

  5. Kaye, your place is just beautiful! It is so nice to see spring coming! Here in Maine we have rain then snow then rain, etc. Winter just doesn't want to give it up!😊 Enjoy the day! Yah bless you🙏💖

  6. Oh Kaye, I sympathize! I hate wrangling hoses. I'm in the north and so I have a week or two before I plant anything. Good luck Kaye…may the rain fall soft upon your fields, the wind blow gently on your back and may the Lord hold you securely in His hands.

  7. Kaye I just purchased a metal hose from Amazon. I am not affiliated but look for things to help me on the farm. I love it. I want to purchase a few more of them. Praying that you have abundant crops! The winds are so not normal. They need to stop spraying the skies. Many in Logan county Oklahoma have lost everything. So, so sad. Stay safe and plant like crazy! Wendy🙏🏻🇺🇸

  8. We've had relentless wind, too. It's been non-stop for about a week, and it's chilly, too. Yesterday, I decided to go plant shopping and had to put an end to that pretty quickly because the wind was making my eyes tear, so I couldn't see anything. It was miserable. I doubt I'll do much in the garden until late April or early May. I remember it being just like this last year. I'm in the Missouri Ozarks, and they say to be safe not to start your frost sensitive plants until after Mother's Day.
