Hi All – I just moved into a new pad and was curious if I could get some opinions on whether or not this slope in my backyard is too much. Looking to spend around $2500 but do not want to invest in one if it's not a good idea. I feel like this isn't too bad, but again would love others opinions. I am mostly concerned with the part down by the fence… Appreciate the assistance!

What slope
Ride on mowers will have a safety slope degree posted on them or in their manual.
These slopes look absolutely fine but it can be hard to tell the perspective in pictures sometimes. For reference I used to be a greenkeeper so I’m used to using ride on mowers on steep slopes.
Basic home ride on mowers tend to have a safety rating of 15 degrees I believe, looking at those pics you’ll be fine as they look like very minimal slopes.
The one thing I will say though is at the bases of slopes even minor you will get pooling if the area doesn’t have good drainage which will make the soil soft and susceptible to damage from a ride on. Check to see if any spots seem overly soft before riding and turning a mower on those areas.
From the pictures, that is nothing. But pictures never show the slope well. Just mow up and down and not across the slope.
I feel like pictures rarely do the slope justice without a very clear side angle and some level for comparison. That being said I would think that almost any rider would be fine for this.
Thanks again all. I’m all set!
