  1. Gardening in 9b far northern ca mostly mild winters rarely drops below 30°… rain and windy storms are very common, but very dry long hot summers up into October!

  2. Alexandria (I'm unsure of the spelling, I apologize if I've got it wrong), I want to thank you for these videos. I've been a subscriber on an older YouTube channel of mine for years, but I've just subscribed on this channel too. These videos are very clear, informative, and beautiful at the same time. But today, during a time when we're having difficulty in the U.S., I started watching your videos again using this new channel and my heart burst with joy and relief. I have a new garden without many plantings. It's an old home I bought about six months ago, but the garden was scraped and all the old trees removed by the previous owner. Last year I planted my favorite, lilacs, some cold-hearty pomegranates, and some bulbs. A slow start but I plan on beginning inexpensively by forming a simple cottage garden from heirloom seeds, a few plantings, and one tree to begin with. Anyway, thank you, it has changed my day and I'm grateful. 🌻

  3. Oh that third man gave such good practical advice.
I ❤ when people can articulate how they do what they do 🎉
Can't wait to start gardening now.

  4. Hi Alexandra, loved this review! Please can you tell me what is the name of the fab peachy rose featured at min 29:14? The name did not pop on the screen for that one. Many thanks!

  5. Fabulous garden ideas. Interesting to learn about the climbing roses, not being the best for an arch. I need to go rose shopping 😁

  6. Such a wealth of good information! Thank you for all your interviews and great question you ask people. Inspiring!

  7. The debris fill to take up space in the concrete pour. Washing machines and bicycles ! You are telling all our secrets.

  8. A beautiful video. Thanks! I love roses and have several. Sadly, the Japanese beetles love them – and so many of my other plants – as much as I do. It's a challenge!

  9. Who of us does not want to enjoy a long and happy life? Just think how wonderful it would be if we could live forever in health and happiness! We could spend more time with loved ones, travel the world, develop new skills, grow in wisdom, and learn thoroughly about whatever interests us, to our hearts content. Is such a desire unnatural?
