Pea salad 🥗
Delicious
I pulled some of my carrots yesterday they were the kuroda and Man. They were beautiful. I actually put some in a beef stew that I made last night. I did eat some fresh. Oh my God they were good.
Hi Calikim, Mac, Jerry. I hope i got your 🐶 name right? Your garden looks amazing 🤩 that salad yum 😋
I bought a lot of growing bags I've never used those before. Would i have to put a flower pot into each one? Or just add soil to them without a pot?
I have the red salad bowl in the Oakley and I have some spinach, but I’m going to put in my salad
7:57 that’s too pretty to eat lol.
Going to add that to my list especially the chamomile. I want to try the flowers!
Annnnnd hey Mac 🐶💚🥰
Thanks for telling me about the arugula flowers. I'll be sure to use them in my salad. My mustard greens are so pretty, too. HAPPY SPRING!!
27:38 I really enjoyed this video!! Such beautiful salads
To celebrate the first day of spring , I wa sable to harvest some strawberries today!
Was on the fence about plant nestrusome, but I think I’ll plant some this year.
Also, had you made a video on how to plant carrots in smart pots? I think this may be the way for me to finally get some carrots after trying for years. 😊
I have been harvesting my own salad from our raised bed garden too, after your suggestion to start our own salad & herb garden, thank you!
Happy Sprang! I like all the MAC sightings! I let the pests get out of hand in my greeens in the Greenstalk. I'm just going to replant a new flush. Surprisingly my lettuces spinich are untouched. I like the recipe format!
Peas don’t “bolt” in any way, right? They just get less productive as it gets hotter?
So apparently carrots take a really long time to grow, I didn't know that so maybe I cut my carrot tops prematurely before they had a chance to develop the root 🤣
Thank you very much
Aside from the great content and the joy of spring equinox and harvesting fresh backyard spring salad ingredients – this vid is an object lesson in content presentation, education and flat out Youtube skillz!!! You guys ROCK!!! Love you so much. Right now, I'm a microgreen psycho boy. Also a sprout psycho boy. I have 3 trays of Calikim microgreens under the lights, salad will be tomorrow – got sprouts going too- the Calikim Microgreen and Sprouts package introduced me to sprouts and now I'm addicted. Again thanks CaliKim. One more mention, from past video lesson of yours: RE USE your potting soil – just 3 days ago I emptied about 20 calikim grow bags of soil from last season, into my wheelbarrow, added some magic amendments to reuse it — this is an easy base to cover 40' by 6' feet where an invasive grass had come into the edge of my yard last year, over the winter I killed that grass by covering with cardboard and black cloth 40' by 6' and now I cover it using the old potting soil, mixed in with a new seed crop of white and red clover to hopefully grab roots and take over the bare areas for EVER LOL we'll see.. cheers Harold
