I got this plant (I think it’s a syngonium) as a free gift and I’m not sure if I should pot it into soil or grow it in water until there’s secondary roots and they are more developed.
I’ve never grown any plants in water before so if that’s the best route for this plant, any advice and tips would be appreciated! 😊

Water until the roots get longer
Syngoniams are literally the most hardy plants in my experience. Do anything and they’ll thrive, do nothing and guess what, they thrive. Because it’s a syngoniam, I would pot it directly cause I know it will do well directly in the pot.
