  2. Great review! I'm in the northeast U.S. where we have A LOT less rain than you, so I've been seriously considering switching my in-ground raised beds to self-watering "containers" like this. The concept is the same from what I understand—waterproof reservoir at the bottom, divots for the soil to be below water level to wick, separation between water and soil, and a pipe. Sounds like another YET ANOTHER PROJECT I don't have time for! 🙃
