Tldr; Pothos , and a few other plants, produce a lot of natural root hormones, making and prop jar buddies take off.
But changing the water regularly is gonna be a problem so I suggest an air stone- and keeping the water out of direct sunlight … someone also said pennies stop mold/ mildew growth but dunno bout that
