Well, they form a solid matt of bulbs and they seem to choke my roses and other plants. Basically that. They seem to make it harder for other things to thrive. Plus I just don’t want them literally everywhere. I’ve got all sort of other plants I’m trying to grow. They’re just very pushy which seems rude.

Put the bulbs back in the soil where you found them. These are nature bounty.

I have them grow through the winter, green tops without flowers. Strangest bulb plant I’ve ever had.

I love these! They smell so good! They are an early spring plant, they grow, bloom and then fade away until the next spring. At least that’s what I’ve experienced in the PNW.

You can make a syrup out of these and then add it to lemonade and it turns bright pink! [https://mysliceofmexico.ca/2024/05/01/grape-hyacinth-syrup/](https://mysliceofmexico.ca/2024/05/01/grape-hyacinth-syrup/)
