Dropped this guy (Ionantha Guatemala clump) from about three feet and didn’t seem to land too hard, but now the tip of the bud (in the middle of the mama) it’s been working so hard on is slightly damaged…should I expect it to bloom less successfully now?? Is there anything else I can do besides maybe avoid getting water in the bud?

I can’t see a single thing wrong with this very healthy plant.
It’s not going to bloom, it already did. That’s a seed pod. I’m sure it’s fine but they can take a year+ to fully develop, dry out and pop open.
Hi.
These plants once became mature, bloom. After starts to grow pups and you will find seed pods what previous user mentioned.
Tillandsia has a ton of seed pod. Fun to grow seeds:))
