Recently I got two baby monsteras, the smaller one is the Thai Constelation, the other one is the variegated (still not sure if it's the albo). Anyway, when I was reading about the subject, I saw people saying you should use the pole as soon as you can, but I'm not sure how should I do this in such a small vase with such a small plant. I would have to use chopsticks or something similar to this and they would be useless after some time. Or should you trade your pole with the vase as the plant grows? It doesn't seem like a good idea, since the monstera will be (hopefully) attached to it, so I'm not sure what should I do to help them get as healthy as they can. Any help will be most welcome ^

i think they’re okay for now. once they start to pop out some leaves and you see aerial roots start to form, that’ll be the best time to repot & add a support. or you could use a chopstick in the mean time. i’ve put tiny baby monsteras on a chopstick & it actually trained them up faster.
It’s up to you. I let one go and I had a hard time getting it to go on a stick. But honestly I’ve seen them left for years then go straight onto a plank. It’s about how you want it to look. They can even be bush like.
I give them some xxl shashlik picks while they are small and use velcro band to losely secure them…I can pm you a pic later when I am home
