Live in the north east. Every spring I put Scott’s triple action and every summer I get a ton of Nutsedge and crab. andWhat’s the best way to have a full green grass lawn. Temperature is around 50 degrees right now. Do I put Down seeds first ? Don’t mind the hole I just dug out a plant need to fill it in.

Rake and overseed in spring. In central Ohio. I do this early April. Use 10 10 10 fertilizer in Early to mid May. Cut grass at 3 to 4”. Never shorter. Over time several seasons. You will see a vast improvement. I only remove weeds by hand to avoid damage to surrounding trees, bushes etc
What lawn?
