haha we used to get $50 for a big jar of what we call (3 corner jacks)-(goat heads) in Australia just a really nasty prickle that is hard to control but there’s nothing wrong with feeding chickens unless you have an ass of a rooster

Mine were feeding by the time they were ~4/5 and 6/7+ respectively. Dogs, cats, goats and chickens.
Imho though, you should NOT tie chores to $$. That will lead to them just choosing not to do them, because they don’t really want the $$. Chores should just be a part of life. Something we all do, because we’re part of the family. Not something you can choose to do, or not, for $$$.
