Happy Spring !
Love What the Foundation! Love the healthy glow, especially at our age!
Linda to save your back when making that topiary it may have been helpful to lift it up onto your table and you could sit and work at it or stand and work at a waist level. That’s just the nurse in me watching that’s all.
Thank you, Linda and Stewart for all the great videos
You might try 4 o'clock seeds for the spot in the alley. I promise you they will reseed every year and are not fussy. Just throw the seed out and forget them . . . no, ENJOY THEM! Also, they come in your colors! Red, Yellow, and White!
I'm curious about the broom hanging behind you at the beginning of the video.🤔
Linda, I love the huge tassel you have hanging from the shepherds hook in your back yard! What a great idea to do to add interest to those hooks when it isn't logical to hang a empty pot on off season!
Linda you should put two boxwood topiaries to flank your alley gate or your garage.
I am working on making topiaries out of large coleus plants. I THINK I may have seen one once on your channel?
For some reason, from our vantage point through the camera it looks like the topiary wants to be a spiral instead of a three ball.
You look so cute today in your black outfit with your jeans!!! So excited about your new book!!! Now don't take this the wrong way but for some reason, this video reminded me of being with my grandmother!!! Her showing me something educational but me just loving being in her presence soaking in her love and affection but also taking in her wisdom at something she was so good at, passing it down to me! Thanks, grandma!!!! Ha! Also, the alleys of my childhood were so mysterious and fascinating to my siblings and I. So, they are seen more than you realize!! I don't know if there is a spot but if there is a place where you could place a few tiger lilies, they are always a fun sight and come back each year!
To get to your Magnifier, you can just triple click on your power button or if you have an older iPhone it is the home button. It’s also in the utilities folder on all iPhones.
I have tried so hard to grow larkspur from seed.
Linda remember a couple of years ago I sent you some rosé campion seed? They would be great in your alley.
Great tip on the magnifier app!
How did you tie your scarf?
Looks great
It’s very windy here in PA as well!
Don’t know about forget me knots they take over everything 😊
how do you grow new boxwood from cuttings??? thank you for a nice video. hello from Indiana.
Linda, do you think that now is a good time to prune boxwood and roses here in Indiana?
Sorry, got to disagree with this one. I will not be a slave to my phone and my beautiful garden. I’ll be happy to take my readers or go get them if I need them. No phone allowed.
Oh Linda I have to tell you a funny story. So my husband was watching you this morning and he saw about the magnifier on the IPhone. Well he couldn’t find it so he asked Siri and somehow went to zoom. He couldn’t get out of it and I had to figure out how to turn off his phone with this zoomed image. I fixed it and told him zoom and magnifying are two different things!
I always love the gardening parts. Watching those boxwoods will be such fun. They are my favorite plant. Thank you, Linda. Also, thank you Stewart for being such a partner with Linda and for always trying to get a good View of what she's showing us. You all are a wonderful team.
Linda, I bought skylight better boxwood, but this winter in North GA it has been harsh. There are a few bronze foliage left, but a lot of leaves have died. Do you think it will survive. I think it was root bound. I roughed it up before planting. I am going to try and be patient with it to see what happens.
Great tips…
Yes, Linda, phone in my pocket always when gardening. "Most patient form of painting" – Yes, Stewart, well said! Love seeing the topiary steps for the boxwood. Thank you! There are huge old boxwoods down the hill that I could take some cuttings and try my luck. . .
So beautiful linda❤
I absolutely love WTF – and all their products -takes so little and you just look soft and glowy –
Here’s hoping the trucks avoid that part of the alley! Would be fun to see it come to fruition.
I also use the merlin app to identify birds and their song when gardening. So surprised how many different species are around me. Free.
Off topic for today, I thought I was watching a recent video about the bungalow but it was from 3 years ago😢😅. How were the plates hung on the wall?❤
Linda, love your blog!! You always look sooo pretty and natural!!! We are both the same age and have birthdays in December. Can you tell me what shade of Jones Road foundation you use and also do you use the face pencil, miracle balm, and the tinted powder? Thanks
For the back alley, I think setting long flower pots on the cement wall would be beautiful! And you wouldn't have to worry about work trucks running over your flower seeds. Plus, you or your neighbor could have fun taking care of the potted plants. 🌸
