Great video! I am so on board with this. It’s interesting to total the amount of money you spend on produce, then look how much goes to growing crops you can grow in your area, and crops that are tropical. It makes me want to make a geo thermal greenhouse for the tropical crops! Some- like turmeric and ginger can be grown indoors with a heat mat. I started gardening in earnest years ago when I realized fresh spinach was $5.00 a pound. I didn’t buy meat for that amount! My garden produce is free- I have a seedling sale every year that covers the cost of seeds, potting soil, soil amendments, tools. What I grow now is just sweat equity.
