I used to be a tile setter and my fingers/ hands would often crack or be dry. I bought a parafin wax machine and would dip my hands once or twice a week. Really helped to soften my hands.
While watching your recap video, I noticed a plant that has such large beautiful leaves of different colors on the floor behind you. What kind of plant is that?
Question: where can I find a list or information about roots of certain plants? I’d like to know which plants have deep roots or wide, shallow roots, and what does that even mean? Is “shallow rooted” one foot deep or less? Whenever I try to google this, I just end up with info on how deeply to plant bulbs or seeds, which is not my question. Thank you!
I bet we all love the new shirt! I got to get outside this week and to prune our fruit trees. It made me so very happy!!!!!! It is amazing what the hope of spring will do for us stuck inside for months due to the snow and ice.
Cleaning those public restrooms isn't a picnic, but, a necessity, if you have a lot of people coming and going. Good to have a place to run if you get the "runs" 😅
Hi Laura Do you have Japanese beetle issues…. hopefully no because they eat every leaf possible… but do you know of a good spray … love your whole property and your family….
My dream would be to have the Fiskars Kangaroo Bag in the 15gal to come in hard shell model. The flimsy bottom gets holes instantly. 😢 Laura, please use your pull and make this happen. 😊
Laura, go to Home Depot or Lowe's and buy one of their buckets and seats and you will not regret it. We had one, in our bungalow, when Super Storm Sandy hit NJ and deposited 4-1/2 feet of water into our cottage. We gutted the cottage and while working having the bucket with seat was a life saver for me. It was Nov/Dec/Jan so it was very very cold outside to head to a porta-potty a little ways away. You can just empty the bag into your wasteland for now.
$80000 for landscape lighting. 😮😮Agree ,a few key areas .. trees along the lane and at the gate entrance .. it would look beautiful in the pond area but would take away from the naturalness of the area.
oh my gosh. number one, number two….I laughed right out loud! we are in such a great group when we are all comfortable talking about this. another reason why we love love this channel 🥰 and I'm with Aaron..at some point the composting toilet will need your attention. yuck
The new composting toilets are terrific, separate urine from feces, means no smell ever. So easy to use and care for… for both and all and no worries ever…. come on… also neither of you is getting younger. Plan for the future… like conduits right? You will some day have weddings or something right. Or Laura do you plan to garden forever?
We have had dairy goat for 25+ years and have raised pigs several times and have much more issues keeping pigs in anal goats. We keep our goat in a 6 foot high fence they have gotten out occasionally and have pruned our apple and fruit trees and my rose bushes. Pigs are good for clearing out areas but get out of the electric fence. And are a challenge to get back in.
I would love to purchase from the store but unfortunately the shipping is £110 or for express shipping over £400! I have previously bought merch when it was via the YouTube link but shipping was nowhere near the current costs. Is there any way shipping coukd be more affordable for those of us following you from the UK? REALLY KEEN❤ to purchase 9 items in particular from GA…
Your Number 1 and Number 2 conversation made me giggle! Not your usual fields of discussion. I know that some mobile homes or tiny homes have complete composting or chemical toilets with no odor or huge/messy maintenance issues. I do think some sort behind the potting shed, or near the barn, might be handy! (Especially as you age!)
Aaron, I agree 100% about the absurdity of discussing compostable toilets, etc. As one, like Laura who waits until I have to hurry to the restroom, I say, manage your bladder better and relieve yourself before it is critical 😂. I have to say, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my raised beds. They enable me to work the soil and veggies without bending over. And the tomato plants, though tall, are still within reach. Bonus: my husband built them in a way that I have storage beneath them that doesn't look unsightly.
Laura, learn from the Burning Man ladies and have a pee funnel in all the outbuildings. Oh, and think you so much for not naggind about the like and subscribe thing. Often I stop watching those channels. it'sso annoying.
Ok, composting toilets – gardening channels have a wide spectrum of topics; you guys just 'won'…! Love everything you and your team put out there! Thanks!
What happened to the likes not keeping count. The subscribers are lower. Is this not the real Garden Answer channel?edit: 276 thousand subscribers? Not the nearly 2 million? ????
For your raised beds get the blocks from Lowe’s and use the long boards (cedar, redwood, pressure treated) to make the sides. The blocks have slots on 4 sides and can be stacked (use adhesive) to the desired height. The blocks are 6” high and the slots hold a 2” wide board

Because of you I bought a swig coffee mug a few months back, and 2 green stalks😂. The mug keeps my toddler from spilling my coffee
If it makes you feel any better Laura, I dug up my favorite sunglasses I"ve been looking for for months while doing my Spring clean up last week .😳😂
I think Rosie the gnome borrowed your rolling pin and cups…

I would love to have that new T-shirt print on a kitchen towel. So pretty!
It was a great video! Wind dosnt ruin it at all! But I completely related to your facial expressions, whenever it was real gusty!

Could one of the chickens be egg-bound?

I grew up in western Montana and we never covered our strawberries in the winter and they always came up again in spring.
OMG!! You guys are hilarious LMAO. Discussing number ones and number twos.
Why not use solar lights from Hose Link? I've heard they're high quality.

I really want a the new shirt but I can't wear white at all. I stain it immediately… Could you make it in light grey? Love you guys❤️
I've tried 10 times to order the shirt. Can't get past the match this picture I decided not to buy. I have MS and it's hard

Hopefully solar lights will become more and more reliable and also more attractive. There must be really nice ones by some company!
Will you be showing a video on pruning the "Julia" rose trees.?

Loved ❤ Aaron's reference to 'The Borrowers' . My favorite childhood book (60 years ago) 😂
Lol😅talking about number one and number two is so funny! Good for you knowing your audience so well that we find this entertaining.
Cedar Planters have wooden raised beds. Trying for the first time this year. They come with everything to put them together.
Always a highlight of my Sunday. How thoughtful of your parents! Awesome as always!

Your missing mug is full of Samantha's "potions" somewhere, and Benjamin needed your rolling pin as a gun for an army battle. That's my best guess! 🙂
😂 You are quite a pair Enjoy your videos
