Right you green figured gurus. We bought this house a couple of years ago and turned the patio into a garden – top soil, turf, etc.
It’s now early-ish March and I’ve just done the first cut to smarten it up a bit. We’ve got big bald patches where the Christmas trees sat and a fair few lumps and bumps.
Have got 2 kids who LOVE playing out here.
So here is where I need the help. Rather than just rake the bald spots and then seed and water is there anything else I should be doing? Do I need to sand and level it? Do I need anything else apart from the basics?
I’m not looking to have the best lawn in the land, mainly because the kids toys are on it, but I would like it to be green and level-ish.
