Hey plant lovers,
My Monstera has been doing really well for the past few years, but recently I’ve noticed dark spots forming on the tips of some leaves. It gets a bit of sunlight in the morning but is otherwise in indirect light. Other than that, it’s been growing nicely.
Does anyone know what could be causing this? I’d appreciate any advice 🙂 Thanks in advance!

When this happened to mine, it was being overwatered, check the roots.
Sun exposure maybe
No moisture…it’s burning in light with no humidity
Thanks for the advice. I will check the roots and try to use some light curtain to avoid direct sunlight. I always thought the sun is not that bad in the morning, but seems like i was wrong 🙁
Thx a lot!
low humidity, what is the situation with general humidity in your place? running dehumidifers/air con or generally have dry air i find it can cause similar damage.
Also it can be age depending on the leaves in question. leaves dont stay perfect that is just social media creating unrealistic standards, this guy is super happy otherwise i wouldn’t want to move him.
