I have had my baby since October and since then she has only popped one new leaf. I do live in a colder climate so I don’t know if that may have stunted growth? The new leaf is huge and absolutely gorgeous so I know I can’t be doing too bad. I am just worried because it’s only been one new leaf since then. Any advice?

Yes very normal
Yeah, that is normal. It looks really healthy so that is good.
My monstera did not grow since September.
Mine rarely pop new leaves from October to mid February and I’m in a mid range US state.
All my plants are currently “waking up” from longer winter nights. My biggest monstera is now pushing two new leaf stems that look like they will be huge. She is already seven feet tall and never put up more than one new leaf at a time.
….that last part has nothing to do with the op, but it is very exciting for me personally.
I live up in Boston and over this winter I got a grow light from Amazon for 20 bucks and I used that fertilizer that was all over TikTok called Purived. Since October my monstera plant has popped out nine leaves I really think it’s the grow light.
Pretty typical. I have mine under grow lights, so she grows all year round. But if she is just by the window, the cold seeps through enough that she will slow down all growth.
Winter months are typically miserable months for Monsteras because they’re tropical plants. Invest in UV lamps during winter the months when it’s less sunlight. Also be sure not to over water her. Other than that she looks amazing.
You braggart…I’m so jealous
