  1. I am going to be growing my lettuce in May 2025 outside.

I recommend for food to be grown outside because it's more cheaper, and more spacious in comparison to growing indoors.

  2. I'm new to hydroponics and don't know what to do. My first round grew tomato vines but no fruits no flowers just leaves so replanted and waiting but nothing yet help pls

  3. I have grown lettuce, cherry tomatoes, small cucumbers, Jalapeno peppers, dill, cilantro, basil, thyme, and oregano. I now have a lot of dried herbs 😊. Right now i am just growing lettuce. Hydroponic gardens are great for those who do not have a green thumb or outdoor space.

  4. I have checked into these systems. I think they are good, but have not bought any.
I have put a lot of money out, while trying to get an outside garden to work….fail. I have growing stands, huge 1tone bag of soil, seeds galore, mostly heirlooms! Lol they are ALL still in their respective Sjipping Boxes!
My hindering factor is Renovations Ceased! The inside Reno needs to be complete, for the front glassed in porch to be usable! Right now it's piled with reno supplies, etc. I even had electric plugs wired out there, so I can run the expensive Convection Heater, which is still in it's box! LOL.
Little added Fact to this Story is, I started this Plan to make front porch usable AS,a main part of the house, with Brunch Area to one side with antique furniture (already bought), and Sewing/Reading Under Stars/Growing Greens area on the Other End.
Since every plan I've tried for Outside Gardens Failed? I was determined TO have Herbs and Greens Inside! This porch IS the full length of the house and 6' wide! A lot of usable Space! Fully glassed in, it's hot in Summer, but 100% NON Insulated, thus the necessary heater!
ONE Day, I will be able TO Do this! 😂
PS I am overwintering 2 beautiful Pepper Plants, since they were doing SO well in fall! I left the peppers on to Self Dry, to replicate Normal Plant life. Then cut ALL the tops off, with peppers, to Stimulate New Growth time, just 2 weeks ago. They are putting out ALL new leaf shoots now and look lovely! My next challenge will be, not to kill them when I put them back outside! 😂

  5. I grow microgreens indoors. I've also done some hydroponics indoors growing lettuce, pok choi, kale, and swiss chard.

  6. Likewise started a round of leaf lettuce late January in one of my table top hydroponic set ups. Really LUV it! Was wondering if anyone knows how to calculate how much nutrients to use with Masterblend Tomato & Veg the products I used for feeding the veggies I'd grown a few years back hydroponically in 5 gallon containers outdoors. I've purchased replacement nutrients for the indoor set ups and it would be great to save some $$ to learn how to correctly dilute the Masterblend I already have, as well. Thank you, Brian!

  7. I grow curry pulair, vendika, katrika, podalanga, inji, veldrika, etc all indoors and I sell them to my neighbours.
Growing your own food and medicine is like printing your own money.

  8. only bring my citrus and other freeze prone semi tropicals in after winter back out doors they go

  9. I think these systems are cool, but always get turned off when I see them using proprietary refills (ie nutrients, seed pods). Would love a video seeing if you can pull this off using off-the-shelf stuff you can buy at any store.

  10. For me, the secret to indoor plants is self watering pots with an easy to see water level indicator. Still not completely Deb-proof but the plants do stand a better chance. I tried an Aerogarden years ago but had trouble keeping the reservoir water clear. You've inspired me to pull it out and try again.

  11. I love that you show that you're just a normal person who makes videos to help other normal people. ❤

  12. When I first moved to Montana with my kids there were a couple Arogarden planters the former owners left. My grandson set up one and we put all the herb seeds it came with in it. Grew nicely then my daughter-in-law insisted they would die if not planted outside my grandson’s and I told her no they are meant to grow there. She took them and planted in her garden where they promptly died😂. Then she took the arogardens and put them away saying they were useless. Oh well.

  13. Just grew 10 pac Choi in 3 inch pots under grow lights this winter. Smaller than they would have been outside, but they did grow well.

  14. Last winter I grew orange hat tomatoes under grow lights. They only get about a foot tall, but the fruit was very tart. Probably my fault though.

  15. Great video. New sub 👍🏽 I also grow indoors. I have that same LetPot System.
I have an entire garden setup in my basement. Yon name it I’m probably growing it indoors. I can’t grow anything outside as of now because of snow and freezing temperatures. 👍🏽

  16. Since we know the devils lettuce can be grown indoors we know most things can be grown indoors its just a matter of logistics and money , herbs don’t need much light so their definitely the most economical to grow

  17. Brian, I only have room to grow sprouts in a jar indoors, but that still gives me fresh greens all year.

  18. Just curious. Is it necessary to fill every space, or could you just grow five spaces? Cute.

  19. I’ve never tried the hydroponics systems but I have thought about doing an aquaponics system outdoors. It’s a lot of work! Indoors I’ve grown micro Tom and orange hat tomatoes, as well as quick snack cucumbers (Yumm) and thumb thumb peas. I’ve had indoor salad stations too. 😊 Thanks for sharing!
