Crows absolutely tore up my already terrible front lawn. I have this sod netting throughout so I wonder if scraping and starting from scratch is the best option. Any thoughts on how to proceed as spring approaches? Located in western WA.

    Yeah rip,out as much of that old sod backing mesh as practicle it serves no purpose and should have been removed when original sod went down,

    Those areas are big enough agree I’d overseed. Not very familiar with your climate as to timing. Whenever you see you lawn starting to green up probably. Just scratch up any areas that are heavily packed, overseed, starter fertilizer. and throw some straw over it to keep birds out of it. Make sure it doesn’t dry out.

    If birds and animals are doing that to your lawn, there may be grubs that the birds are digging for. You should definitely overseed, but also probably apply Grub X this summer.
