Hello! sorry if this isn't the right subreddit to ask this, but I couldn't find another one and I need advice, so if anyone could help I'd really appreciate it👉👈
Recently, I bought a hyacinth, and today while watering it, I noticed that its roots are peeking through the bottom of the pot. I've seen pictures of hyacinths growing in water pots, but they were all planted that way from the bulb stage. So, I was wondering if could I clean its roots and transfer it to a water pot, or would it be better to just repot it in a larger soil pot? I'm not sure if switching from soil to water so suddenly might stress it out.
The first pic it's my hyacinth, the other it's an example of what I'd repot it into, is it a safe option? Tyy

Leave it as it is, it’s almost finished flowering. Putting it in water will speed up the flower dying. Plants in water have different roots to plants in soil, so you’d shock it by moving it. It doesn’t need much space for roots as it’s the bulb that’s important.

You’ll need to rest the bulb if you want it to flower again next year, by drying it out once the leaves have had time to process enough energy to the bulb.
