  1. Kaye really keep an eye on your roofing if shingles because these higher than normal winds can cause leaks and ruin ceilings in no time! I have had issues in the last 2 years!

  2. Kaye this is so concerning fires burning in major cities! The wind here the last few days has been really bad. The electric company cuts the power during a wildfire. We endured a wildfire in 2014 my eco system is still wrecked. Check your area and see if they are planning a smart city, then pray. My grandson was born New Year’s Day as well. I started praying for no more destruction to our country, spraying, this wind. Kaye the last few days here in Guthrie have been terrifying, tornado risk increasing from low to moderate winds hail, then last night the wind was slamming leaves against the house and a friend called and she was explaining to me that she feels this wind in ominous along with this is not normal! Stay safe🙏🏻. Wendy

  3. 🙏 prayers for you and your critters Kaye. We had a blizzard last night here. 70 mph wind. It just got downgraded to a winter storm because it's between 50-60 mph now but my sons power is out and I have a tree branch banging on the skylight over the bathroom. Fire is scarier though. I know you would evacuate if needed but I hope you don't have to.

  4. Do not grow weary in well doing. The world is a mess but we have a God who loves us and has prepared a place for us. Blessings 🙏

  5. Your onions look fantastic!! you can definitely trim them again. Definitely makes them stronger, every time you trim them the onion grows another layer with new growth

  6. Glad there was no damage from the fire! Speaking of wind, I'm a little traumatized from the Hurricane force winds we had this morning while I was OUTSIDE feeding my turkeys and chickens.😱 I had no idea we would have tornadic winds so ran to my greenhouse as it started to pour. Bad decision.😰 Branches falling and flying into the greenhouse but luckily no punctures. I thought the whole thing was going to collapse! Husband came running outside looking for me, that is how bad the winds were. I hope you don't get them this morning!

  7. Dear kaye, oh im getting stuck for words with all, thats happening almost all countries. Did I tell you one of my sons is in South Carolina ,working in the University.i know he's grown up young gentleman but I feel he's so far away. Not a 2 hour drive as was before he went there..im lucky too always here from my children daily..on standby as my youngest daughter is expecting her 4th baby. April. But seems to be having lots of day s s its big contract ions.so up n down for them to the maternity ward..Im having the we ones on and off whilst this happens. ?my mum has dementia still in her own home, but she call on the phone much to keep asking when I'm seeing her..its sad that she forgets soon as I have gotten back home.!have siblings 3 doors down from mum but she still keeps asking me.forgetting that she has just phoned,,.so my mind is very muddle y at the moment. 😊.sorry if I delay in comment ing,,,im always loving your films kaye. 8. I'm praying for your protection. You said you have to finalize packing, where are you going? Your onions and peas look beautiful! I planted onion seeds yesterday, I hope soon they look as great as yours!

  9. I see your packing for Asheville, I hope all fires and danger of fires go away soon and you can go on your trip soon

  10. It was very windy here in Gainesboro, but thankfully, no loss of power or big trees down. We are glad you are ok.

  11. I want to try planting onions this year. Never tried growing them from seed. We got snow last night (not a lot) and high winds also. Think I'd better turn the heat on in the greenhouse for tonight. If we hold on for a day or two we should be back to spring weather here in SW MO. They are forecasting three days of 70's so far in the coming week. Yay! It seems to me there are too many fires for this time of the year. I can't believe we are into March already.

  12. Hope your power is back on and the threat of fire has been resolved. We had a transformer catch fire in our backyard and it was very scary as it was surrounded by trees which thankfully did not catch fire. They brought in some heavy equipment to replace it and only without power for 6 hrs or so. We have rain today and high winds later so hope it passes quickly. Onions/peas can wait a few more days…
