hi nicole, i like them all. i really like the garden art. i see yours and it is beautiful! thanks for sharing. hope you have a great week!!!
As a recovering travelholic who is inching toward retirement and painfully aware that I need to scale the travel back for financial reasons, I knew long ago that I would need to create a garden that made me as happy sitting in it as I was when I was in all of those exotic places. I've worked on the outdoor space 'trend' for many years and absolutely love being outside in it. I live in a small house so the outside space just adds to the overall quality of liveability. I don't care about heat or bugs (I'm Southern and have a fan 😁), I'm just happy that I've acheived what I set out to do. My vote is for the outside space trend!
We have a new garden space to work with this year. It's a ranch house rental. Surrounded with pine trees. Some of the trends I like are the birds and pollinators ideas. We have partially "buried patio pavers". Looking forward to trying to revive that somehow and get it usable again. We have fire pit out back with no seating. We have a swing with a pergola that could use some sprucing up. My garden helpers are 3 and 6. They love water sand sidewalk chalk and getting messy😂. They got a birdhouse kit for Christmas that we can work on putting up that qualifies as art right? They also like fairies
So maybe some plantings for a fairy garden? There's a partial old stump we had a few tea parties with back in the Fall that could be an awesome little fairy garden. Tons of squirrel visitors. The front yard could use some color..Side of the house needs redoing because someone wrecked it by knocking down all the edging bricks. I need to visit with my little local nursery to see what they suggest and go from there
Thinking this Thursday is supposed to be nice weather for taking some photos to take along to the nurseries.
Nice
Such an inspiration you are, Nicole! I wish I could apply all these trends! In fact, I guess I kind of do since I started planting more natives. They naturally do lend themselves to more of a naturalistic look and attract pollinators. I do love planting in drifts and having somewhat of an organized look, too, so I'm all over the place! I love to follow your style so keep up the great work!
Great video Nicole, I like all of the trends! I like to repurpose things in the garden. I take things from inside my house and add it to the garden. Example: older baskets, painted rocks, branches…😊

I love how you start the video with and I quote " I will try to leave my opinion out of it" 😂😂😂😂 but then proceeded to share your opinion on every trend. 😅😅😅 Thanks for the video😊 and good attempt 😁
I'm for all 7 trends 😊
I want even more butterflies than last year 🦋 and I'm always keeping an eye out for garden decor
Hi Nicole! All these trends are totally my style! love them. Quick question.. been thinking of making an art for my garden, could you share what materials and paints you have used that survive the elements? Last year I did a mosaic wall and I can’t wait to create a little reading book there 🙂
Hi Nicole 🌺 .Very cool video of these beautiful gardening trends also l love pollinators in my garden. Because of bees , my avocado tree bore fruit in the third year, even though it was not grafted and I planted it from seed. My tecoma tree it is amazing for the humingbird and pollinators also the lilac vine its flowers attract bees . Have a great day .🌺🌻🌺
Moved to Boone, NC recently and wondering what garden shows are a must go to in NC? TIA
My trend, and I am a tropical garden enthusiast, is to plant more fruit bearing bananas, look for more low maintenance plants, look to add more evergreens when possible & also add more blanket flowers for my main color in sunny areas
Painting my pots while watching your video! I sent you a pic on IG… so funny! Great ideas and inspiration. Hope you have a wonderful day!
I’m planning to plant a service berry and two paw paw trees this year. The trees will be great for the birds, offer some shade to me and food year over year!
I started planting natives a few years ago and it’s been so fun to see new bugs and how much they flock to the native plants…and leave my veggies alone.
Wow sooo amazing, cozy garden❤❤❤
I have removed my front lawn entirely. I have 8 artichoke plants and a bed of asparagus with 2 pomegranate trees 1 lemon. I grew romain lettuce last summer along with pollinators. It gets attention and almost all my neighbors love it. One still cuts her grass down to an inch tall. I'm thinking of adding some blueberries. Just found your channel. 🎉
GM Kim in here from BACKYARD BLOOMS WITH KIM. I live in Charlotte NC. Good video. I might reference some of your ideas in my video.
I live in Southern California, I have 6 out of 7 of the trends you mentioned. I just need my fountain and bird bath. 😊
Nicole, I must apologize – I just discovered your channel, loved the content ( that I didn't watch in consecutive episodes), left a couple comments. As I watch more episodes I hear you saying the same thing I put in my comment – ooops! But so glad to find another like-minded gardener!
( You don't need to have a "pollinator garden" to attract bees, wasps and butterflies. Any flower with nectar or pollen will bring them in. Native bees typically do not sting – most have stingers that won't even penetrate our skin. Honey bees don't usually sting unless threatened. Jellowjackets are most likely the culprit when bees are blamed.)
