  1. Oh, so close!
One of the things that really stands out to me with this home's layout … the dining room is NOT at the entrance.
    Spot on!
The dining room should never be at the entrance. A home is not an eatery where people can walk in, take off their coat, and sit down to eat.
From the entry, the formal gathering room is good (first level of privacy). People can come in and mix and talk with others. Only those who are close enough to stay for dinner (break bread with the family) are then invited to the dining room. The dining room should, therefore, always be further inside (second level of privacy).
After these rooms should come the informal rooms (third level of privacy)…like a family room, game room, theater, bedrooms. Outsiders don't go to these rooms unless they are very close to the family.
What I would have liked to see off the entrance…a formal study/office and a parlor/den. These are part of the first level of privacy. I was disappointed to see the study/office put so far in the house. That makes it an informal study/office (second or third level of privacy).

Well, it's not perfect, but it is doable because at least the dining room is not right off the entrance.

  2. Love the overall look and many of the features! Some things I would have planned differently: Bigger dining area pantry cabinets need pullouts, fireplace is to massiv and gloomy, don't care for the location of the staircase to the downstairs and lastly: The sauna needs to have access to the outside and a wet area for cold shower as well as a rest area. But yeah, if I were gifted the house I would be happy to overlook those things! 🙂

  3. The way i see it is if a scammer comes to me and scams me out of something i got scammed. If he goes to like a lender claiming he owns my house and he scams them out of money then they got scammed. Got nothing to do with me.

  4. I love how you give Jenn so much credit. That really is a hard job! Can’t wait to see the home you two build together one day. ❤

  5. That shower has to be the best ive seen. I hate glass and curtains. That open concept is amazing, makes you feel like your taking a shower outdoors with the stone.

  6. Wow amazing house. The first thought from my simple mind is….how do you clean all those windows ! 😂😂😂😂😂
Love looking at how the other half lives. Thanks for the great tour.

  7. Affluent, desirable home, although this type of home is for those of whom are alcohol consumer's and focus on young adults who does not inhibit physical limitations. With that being said improvements utilize those spots to other and improve with elevators to reach lower level, main and upper, to include backup generators when power goes out, water collection for drinking. That would sum up the desirability of three point five-to-four-million-dollar home.

  8. Whyyyyyy do they put staircases in front of beautiful huge windows, it obscures the view from both outside and inside. Even though the staircase is also modern and beautiful, it just chops up the window. If it was a sweeping single or double stair for the foyer, set to be seen from the window that would be lovely.
