I know nothing about cows so forgive me for the ignorance but what do you do in this scenario? As a mama who has had mastitis I had to pump and take antibiotics but will mama cow let you milk her? If not does it get worse? Just curious

She gotcha good… had a big yearling get me just like that in ‘18 up on the top deck. Still having trouble.
She knew the routine, didn’t she? And was not having it! Hope you got her doctored.

Why is it ALWAYS the knees they kick you on? I have scars on both sides of my knees from getting kicked by cows, years ago.

This may sound alarmist but I had a friend who was kicked in his leg by his horse and developed blood clots. Luckily he was put on blood thinners and cleared up but it took months.

Occupational hazard, try not standing around the danger zone. Hope she’s not too far gone for treatment. Good luck to you both..
