The backyard is finally coming together! 🎉 Today, we’re installing the last of the metal edging, defining our only lawn space, and finishing a crucial section of the gravel walkway—no more mud! 🚜💪 Watch as we lay landscape fabric for weed control, prep the flower beds with fresh compost, and carefully adjust the birch trees to ensure proper planting depth. 🌳 Plus, I’m sharing the exciting plans for our future deck/patio and why we’re rethinking our approach to keep costs down! This space is truly transforming, and I can’t wait to bring it all to life! 🌱✨

  1. Good job,
Robbie it looks like the birch trees are still loose, and bending quite a bit in the wind. perhaps more taller , stronger staking is required

  2. Enjoyed this video so much I’m looking forward to see beautiful plants on the new flower beds thank you for sharing your garden with us

  3. Instead of trying to block the cellar door, why dont you get someone to paint something decorative on it? Like a faux pond or succulent garden, the options could be endless! Find yourself a decorative painter! It is really coming together now, and I'm excited to see more!

  4. Also laughing at the comment at 4:15. 😂😆😂 I can not even begin to imagine my husband and I filming while we’re gardening. You guys make it look SO easy and you’re such a good team. But love that you keep it real. Love the beautiful progress. 💚

  5. Oh sweet Robbie, I had to pause the video to comment on the soil/dirt, please don't listen to me and call it what you like I so love your videos and the great energy that you bring to us. BTW, you 3 were the best dressers at the flower show . Hugs

  6. First, I appreciate how you train and love your dogs. I think Freya is thinking…geez, I can’t walk in the flowerbeds and they are exploding all over. The life of a uTuber dog has to adapt. It is looking good.

  7. Coming along nicely!
Have you considered covering the basement door with outdoor carpet? That would show less paw prints and clean Freya’s paws at the same time. You could hose it down or shop vac if needed. It would also help it disappear in the garden if you did a brown color to match the much or planting mix.

  8. I have a thought but you might not like it. Perhaps instead of trying to camouflage the "basement" hatch, why not embrace it and paint a pretty picture or slogan or something like that on it??

  9. Tbis was a really great project but i wanted to let you know Robbie you were my MUSE today. Im doing a kids cut flower garden for my church ministry Graceful Gardens and you pot trick hit me like lightning!!!! I needed signage and a water resistant container for toddler safe scissors, string, cups etc. and it hit me! Well Robbie puts his supplies in terracotta pots can i put a sticker or write on them? Yes! ❤ Thank you so much ❤

  10. Wow Robbie & Brent the new backyard design is really taking shape. We are soooo excited for you, and for us as we get to watch it unfold without doing any of the hard work. 😂

  11. Robbie – why should you apologize for the wind? It’s gardening, and we work in all kinds of inclement weather conditions. Your vision is stunning. Hope you are taking pics along the way.

  12. Robbie, love watching you transform the backyard into something magical! Love Brent cameos.

  13. I have to say learning how to use a torch to trim weed cloth is so amazing! My husband and I are adding walkways with metal edging and this is a game changer. Love your channel and am so excited to see your plans come to life in the backyard.

  14. Yard is looking really good. What kind of rock do you use thru out your property and also what kind of landscape fabric, mine just shredded before I could even get my rocks down. Thank you, love your videos.

  15. Digging the grass is no easy task

    Looks fabulous

Question- how long is it going to take for the cardboard to break down? Will the cardboard interfere with your plants?

  16. Sometimes the smallest of change bring you the biggest satisfaction. Love the finished gavel path….so refreshing. Keep up the great work.
