Hi all!

Figured I’d share some updated photos of my little propagation! It looks like it’s pushing out another little root and the longer root gets more off shoots every time I look at it! (Please excuse the weird floaty stuff. It’s from the prop and I changed the water.)

The question is, when do I transition it to soil? Should I do it soon since it’s got the pretty long one root or wait until there’s more?

Your experiment looks awesome just looked back and saw where it all started. I’m no expert but my impression is the roots look ready and if you do plant it soon, keep an eye that the leaf looks hydrated as it keeps working on the roots underneath. I had a couple highly variegated props who lost their main parent leaf after putting them in soil and they put out small leaves like yours. I kept an eye on the leaves to know when they were thirsty. When I saw slight wilting I gave a good drink and they kept chugging along looking healthy like yours does now. New leaves were slow to show up but did eventually come.
