Haha, i opened my carrot seed pouch and saw how small they were and i thought nope, these are getting sprinkled in and ill worry about it later. They grew wonderfully with about 15% not reaching full maturity. So many 🥕

I have planted carrots many times. I never got any seed to germinate.

They throw out grass seed..
Then covered with plastic sheet..a few days later they had sprouted…
If they come up you'll be thinning carrots for ever or get a lousy crop.
If u plant some beets in w🎉ith them the beets get ready to pull an when u do that it gives the carrots more room to grow😊

we sometimes cut off the top of a carrot wrap a banana peel around it and plant it they grow roots fast..?

That is a horrible way to do it, they will all grow in a big curled up ball. Carrots seeds need to be spaced apart- yes it’s hard, but the results are worth it
I usually seed heavier than that ! That way if bugs and other stuff eat some seeds there are still enough for a fair amount of carrots to still come up .
Pull and pull per meal all summer long

I mix the carrot seeds with a little sand. Then spread it the same way. It helps them disperse a little better.
Then tamp them down and keep them moist. Voila!!!
Well I can find the seeds in watermelons and lemons and oranges and things like that I cannot figure out what is a seed and a carrot lol
You just made some birds very happy when you go back into your house. I usually cover the exposed seeds with 1/2 top soil and water it daily … then in 4-6 days you’ll see sprouts. 🌱
