  1. I love when it’s ‘go time’ in the garden. We are currently cold and deep in snow in Ontario Canada 🇨🇦, so I love watching you prepare your garden and outdoor spaces for spring. 💚

  2. Everything will be beautiful this Spring Linda! I gave your gardening journal to my daughter for Christmas and some kool jobs gloves. She’s beginning her gardening journey!
Would you mind sharing your back yard fence specs.? Height of solid panels and height of lattice? We lost our fence in the storm of Helene and are having to replace. I live on a busy corner also and need privacy, but don’t want to feel so closed in. Thank you!

  3. Hey Linda and Stewart. Would you do a video about all of the trees on the property? Please. I'm curious how much they've all grown, like the Nuttall Oaks. And some I just would like to know what they are. Thank you.

  4. When I moved to my current home I bought some beautiful guara. I’m not even sure when it died but I miss it. I’m going to plant it en masse this year.

  5. I miss my sonic bloom pink weigelia. I had two very established at my old house I truly miss. Such a joy at springtime!

  6. Linda I’m on the coast of South Carolina and one thing we do here is the long sleeve swim shirts to protect from gardening, sun and surf. My granddaughter calls them “rashies”. They’re cooling and protect our delicate skin

  7. We downsized to a townhome (🥲) and I miss my hostas from my previous home. It’s too sunny at the townhouse for hostas.

  8. Love the "tip" Linda with the advice to cover up as I just had basal cell removed from my neck today and here in Texas, we are in full swing with our gardens. Your hellebores are gorgeous!

  9. I have a lake lot & one year the ice heave was massive. It heaved five feet into my lawn, three feet high. Obviously upturning everything in its “wake”. I was able to save the millennium alliums that started growing out of the side of the berm, and many peonies. However I lost a beautiful Lorelei peony and an established lady of shallot rose. On zone 3/4 getting roses to over winter was tricky enough.
    So sad.

  10. Thank you for the heads up on the hellebores at Joes! Just got back with two deep purple beauties. So exciting! Zone 5b/6a.

  11. I think your outfit is v. fashionable! I can't W A I T to get out in my garden. I went thrift store shopping and found myself saying (out loud to no one in particular) "I need this like I need a hole in my head". I must have looked quite crazy because I was cracking myself up.

  12. Another great video! From youtube GrowVeg – use milk for powdery mildew, 1 part milk to 10 parts water & spray leaves. A more natural solution!
