How do I make my aloe recover or look better?

I could be wrong but this looks like a plastic pot? I almost loved my first aloe to death by over watering in a pot that was too large and glazed. Smaller pot , chunky cactus soil and a terracotta pot helped mine bounce back fast!

Mine are in smaller pots with sandy, well draining soil. I let them dry out completely before watering fully. They also get filtered sunlight, either east or south depending on location in my home. I would inspect the roots and repot then figure out a good lighting position/solution.

Do you ever peel off the crispy part on the end of the leaf? Don’t.

Speaking from personal experience, peeling the brown off makes it worse. Otherwise? Just it some time!

  4. Time….that’s all that’s needed. They will survive anything I do believe! I have several and any time I’ve left it in the sun too long or over or under watered it, I have just pulled it out of sun, quit watering too much or not enough and before I know it (weeks, months), it’s back to healthy looking good! I really don’t think you can kill them!

Just leave it alone and let it get direct sun and water it like every two weeks, or when the soil feels pretty dry. The wilty pats probably won’t lift back up, though they should fill back out, but you have nice, healthy looking new growth on there, so it should be fine.
